Asmongold Speaks About JoshOG

Asmongold just replied to a new video about ZillionOP uploaded by YouTuber SunnyV2. 

Former Twitch streamer ZillionOP lied about his condition to raise money for charity and was eventually permanently banned from the network. The One True King (OTK) co-founding member had various hot takes when reacting to the video, mentioning JoshOG’s past activities. Asmongold expressed his thoughts on the delicate matter, saying: “But you know how they handled it? JoshOG did the right thing. He did the right thing!”

On April 22nd, Asmongold presented a livestreaming broadcast that lasted almost four hours. He reacted to trending videos and snippets on the internet, like he always does. One such video was a 10-minute commentary video released by SunnyV2, a well-known Australian YouTuber. It was about analysing ZillionOP’s actions on Twitch, which resulted in his permanent ban from the platform. The online celebrity halted midway through the video before offering his opinion on ZillionOP’s position.

He believes that if a streaming celebrity attempted to achieve what ZillionOP did in the past, they would be successful. The World of Warcraft player explained his reasoning for his position: “In my opinion, I feel like if somebody did this now, they could get away with it. They could’ve, I think, he (ZillionOP) could’ve gotten away with it even then. I do.” 

The OTK member then made the following comparisons between ZillionOP’s fraudulent work and that of Syndicate, the infamous Counter-Strike: Global Offensive content creator, and JoshOG: “Like, if you think about like, I mean Syndicate is still making videos, JoshOG is still streaming, and they scammed people out of way more than $8,000!”

JoshOG and Syndicate handled the dangerous situation, according to the Austin, Texas native. JoshOG, he claims, did the correct thing because of the following reasons: “He (JoshOG) never talked about it. Somebody brings it up, f***ing ban them! Somebody actually pushes the issue, and you have to make a comment. ‘Ahh, you know, it is what it is, well, you know, let’s go to the next game!’ You know, and that’s it! And you know what? It worked! It f***ing worked.”

Syndicate is a frequent viewer of the streamer’s work, according to a fan in his Twitch chat. Asmongold remarked sarcastically when he heard this: “What’s up, dude? How are you doing? That’s a good one, that CS: GO Lotto thing. That was good, and also, good job on beating Wings of Redemption. That s**t was funny too.” 

The content creator laughed and continued to watch the remaining half of the video.
