Asmongold Responds to Critics

In a recent stream, world of warcraft streamer Asmongold has read some reddit threads while interacting with his viewers and he went to respond to the Final Fantasy XIV haters.

Knowing Asmongold, whenever he has some issues about the game or some things, he always says it without hesitation and his undiluted opinions mean that people either love him or hate him.

Back in May, he blasted Blizzard for the current state of the game stating that he was sick of it. And also recently, he has hit back at one of the Blizzard’s employee who called him an “a**hole,” saying that he didn’t care about it. Even though he has a love and hate relationship with BLizzard’s World of Warcraft, he is still one of the biggest names in the community.

In the past weeks, Asmongold has been trying out some different games and one of these games was the Final Fantasy XIV and during his first ever stream of this title, it was a huge success as he received over 7,000 subscribers and notched over 210k viewers in the process. So, some fans have been wondering if Final Fantasy XIV will be his new game of choice and if it could replace World of Warcraft on Asmongold.

However, others in the community were also quick to assume that Asmongold would formulate a negative opinion of the title. In response to this, Asmongold hits back as he stated; “This is what I was saying before. Everybody just thought I was going to completely s**t on the game. Why would I do that? There’s no reason for me to do that.”

On his stream, he went on to address those who fear that the Final Fantasy community will hit back at him in-game as he stated; “I’m not worried about that kind of stuff. The community in Final Fantasy have s**t on me before whenever I’ve said other things critical about the game. It doesn’t really matter.” It seems like Asmongold won’t be leaving Final Fantasy in the dust anytime soon whether players like it or not.
