Asmongold Reacts To IShowSpeed Fireworks

Twitch celebrity Zack “Asmongold” responded to July 4 fireworks-lighting antics by YouTuber Darren “IShowSpeed.”

After lighting a Pikachu-themed firecracker inside his room on top of a crate of other fireworks, IShowSpeed went viral. The YouTuber ignited it, but when he saw how high the flames and sparks were rising, he panicked. During a recent livestream, Zack responded to the same clip and completely lost it after seeing IShowSpeed’s antics. 

Yesterday, Darren made the unusual choice to light and set off firecrackers inside in order to commemorate the occasion of Independence Day. After his room filled with smoke and the firefighters had to arrive, the last few seconds of his hour-long stream became viral online. Asmongold came upon a subreddit post detailing IShowSpeed’s risky move in the early hours of his most recent stream. The Twitch sensation started laughing as soon as she realized what was in the video. 

The World of Warcraft player navigated to the timestamp of the occurrence and saw that everyone in IShowSpeed’s chat channel instructed him to go outside and light off the firecracker: “Everybody’s spamming like, go outside, go outside, go outside! Yo, f**k that s**t! Light that b**tch up! Do it! Yeah!”

When The One True King (OTK) co-founder noticed that IShowSpeed was becoming anxious, he burst out laughing and said: “No, you’re good, you’re good. It’s good, it’s good!” 

According to Asmongold, IShowSpeed understood what he was doing when he purposely lit off fireworks in his room: “Bro, he 100% knew. He 100% knew what he was doing. 100% he did that s**t on purpose. He said this is going to be funny, I’m going to do it. He 100% knew. He did that s**t for content, absolutely!”

When Speed’s mother called the fire department, Asmongold was shocked: “Wait, she called the police… she called the fire department? Wait, his own mom called the fire department on him? Oh my god!” 

Fans in the streamer’s Twitch chat begged him to skip to the end of IShowSpeed’s livestream so they could witness how the firefighters handled the emergency.
