Asmongold is Stunned on New World Stream Sniper

Just like any other popular streamer, Twitch streamer Asmongold is no stranger to stream snipers, but he was caught off guard by one fan on New World, who went past him on Aeternum at precise intervals to roast the streamer.

Stream sniping is a common occurrence for Twitch’s top stars, such as Asmongold, whether he’s playing World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, or New World. Random players show up to meme on him in the hopes of provoking a reaction. While most of them can be ignored, one persistent sniper was determined to get inside Asmongold’s head during his November 10th stream.

Asmongold and his chat were having a lengthy conversation about exploits in New World and what Amazon Games could do to repair the game. He stated; “There are certain types of exploits that a person could potentially do and not really know they’re exploits because they don’t really understand the game that well. Dev oversight? Yeah I think so. I think it’s definitely an issue in many cases.”

However, just as he was about to respond to the viewer’s inquiry, a random player rushed by with a simple burn on proximity chat: “Yeah but who asked tho?”

Asmongold watched in disbelief as the player went off to fight some mobs in the distance. He explained, “That’s one of the guilds that gets accused a lot of exploiting my server, and apparently he took it personally. I didn’t say you guys were cheating! I don’t f**king knows. He was about to come back to say some sh*t again!”

The player returned to dig in again, true to Asmon’s words: “Shut up baldy.”

The streamer did praise the stream sniper’s tech to make sure the encounter wasn’t too awkward. “You saw him turn around right? He had to stop, he had to type it out, and then auto-run so it wouldn’t be weird whenever he stopped.”

It didn’t distract Asmongold’s discussion on New World’s cheating (and exploit) issues, with the streamer picking up right where he left off. The stream sniper, on the other hand, got their 15 minutes of glory before being urged to “go back to Adin Ross’ chat”.
