Asmongold Faults Twitch For ASMR Meta

Twitch streamer Asmongold has shared some insights surrounding the new controversy of ASMR and leggings streams as he put the blame on Twitch for banning the hot tub meta. The twitch streaming platform has been a home of gamers around the world. However, the Just chatting category has been recently causing some controversy on the platform including the last few months on the hot tub meta which has become a center of controversy in a long time with streamers and viewers complaining about the such streams.

Some streamers suggested that Twitch’s lack of action against them would have dire consequences in the future. Now, it seems that it happened as the new meta has started to trend and that is the new ASMR and leggings meta where the streamers were laying down in front of their camera while licking their ASMR microphones and wearing leggings.

Some viewers seem to can’t get enough of it as these streamers have been gaining massive views whenever they’re doing these kinds of streams. But streamers like Asmongold have said that Twitch is at fault for not acting sooner, and that they pushed themselves into a corner by ignoring the complaints.

Asmongold posted a tweet regarding the matter recently as he wrote; “Twitch wrote themselves into a corner by playing into the intellectually dishonest rhetoric that they won’t punish “perceived attractiveness” of streamers who make obviously sexual content. If they do something, they side with incels, if they don’t, they’re SJWs. Ideology>Reality.”

It received a lot of responses from users who suggested that Twitch should just outright ban the content, or move it to a heavily moderated section. It remains to be seen if Twitch will do anything against their streams, like they did with demonizing Amouranth’s hot tub streams but they have recently banned streamers who have been doing these kinds of streams including Amouranth and indiefoxx.
