Asmongold Defending Malena

American YouTuber and Popular Twitch Streamer Zack AKA Asmongold defended Malena explaining why he supports cross-banning users in multiple channels.

One of Asmongolds fellow streamer Malena recently went viral and received backlash after a clip of her doing ‘cross-banning’ where she banned a user not just from Nick Polom AKA NMP’s chat but from multiple channels where she is the moderator.

Malena was able to ban the said user from other channels including her friend Asmongold because she’s a moderator of multiple Twitch channels. The clip of her went viral and received many views in an exact number of 200,000. Asmongold heard the news and reacted to it.

Asmongold says after seeing Malena’s clip that he think that it’s completely fine especially if that person made his mod uncomfortable, he says that it’s totally fine that a mod in his channel cross ban people and stood by Malena’s action and says that he doesn’t like the idea that one person/user go into somebody else’s chat and have no accountability to it.

He stood by Malena’s decision to ban the said user and didn’t see it as negative instead saw it as a positive thing that moderators can exclude toxic viewers across multiple channels.
