Asmongold Addresses Future Plans as he Returns Streaming

Following the passing of his mother, Asmongold has broken his quiet, returning to YouTube on November 4 to discuss his streaming future. The Twitch star isn’t leaving — but he’s altering his attitude, promising to be “less of an asshole.”

Since October 29, when he announced the death of his mother, Asmongold has been away from Twitch, YouTube, and social media. Over the previous week, tributes to the beloved “Asmom” have poured in, with Asmongold’s community rallying behind him.

On November 4, the star spoke out for the first time on camera in a 32-minute YouTube video about her final moments and the support she’s received. Asmongold admitted; “I don’t really know if my life will ever be the same. I was such a good boy, and we just would sit here in this house and play video games and hang out and she’d make us cupcakes. It was so f**king good man.”

Asmongold did brush up on his immediate future on Twitch saying that he “doesn’t know” when he’ll return to his regular channel. He does aim to submit content to his secondary ‘Zachrawrr’ Twitch and YouTube channels, though.

He explained; “I would like to come on my alt stream and just kind of give my opinion about things and talk about stuff that I’m reading online. It’s either I talk to the camera or I sit in front of a mirror and I almost have the conversation with myself so I just have to get that out there.”

When he returns, he wants to be “less of an asshole” and show off his “genuine and pure-hearted” personality, which he used to characterize his mother.

For the time being, Asmongold is taking a break from Twitch to attend his funeral and other duties. He did, however, express gratitude for all of the love he has received from his fans around the world, and stated that he will return to share more of it once he is fully recovered.
