Another Ban For Disguised Toast

Facebook Gaming streamer Jeremy Wang aka DisguisedToast has been temporarily banned from Twitch and the reason behind his ban was likely due to a homophobic slur dropped in a video clip he watched. Disguised Toast reveals on twitter that he was banned for “unmoderated hateful conduct,” during his recent live broadcast on twitch. Toast hasn’t been using Twitch as much in the past year since he moved to Facebook gaming to stream, however, he recently often returns streaming on his twitch channel just to talk to his old chat under the Just Chatting section with over 1.9 followers.

On April 24th, his twitch account got banned after his twitch stream with over 40,000 peak viewers and he also confirmed the ban later on his twitter post as he wrote; “Got a temp ban from Twitch. Not a big deal since I don’t usually stream there but does mean I have to avoid playing with any friends streaming for a few days.” According to the screenshot that he posted, he was banned for “unmoderated hateful conduct,” which is prohibited under the platform’s Community Guidelines. Disguised toast also clarified that it was likely because with a homophobic slur in a PUBG rage compilation he watched with his chat.

He further added; “didn’t get a specific reason, but if I had to guess: I was watching an old twitch clip of mine that includes a toxic player using the f-slur against me. Will try to be more careful in the future”. The ban, which was issued on April 24th, will probably be for only a few days but will keep Disguised Toast from playing games like Valorant with his OfflineTV friends since they, too, might be banned. He will also be prevented from playing Among Us, which elevated him back to popularity in 2020.
