Amouranth Says That Twitch Should Reveal Ban Reasons

The cause for the ban is mainly unknown among the previous waves of Twitch bans that have been imposed on streamers. 

Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa, a Twitch sensation, has expressed her displeasure with Twitch’s uninformed ban. She has also advocated for a proper mechanism in which streamers are informed in detail about the basis for their suspension.

Twitch currently has a policy of notifying streamers of the name of the stream that violated their guidelines as well as the date of the violation; anything beyond this is not communicated. 

Amouranth, a popular Twitch streamer, had already been banned from the purple platform. Despite the fact that her suspension was revoked each time, she is still subject to a permaban in the future. That could be why Amouranth pushed for a platform shift right on, citing the need for more transparent operations. Siragusa had already criticized Twitch for not disclosing the reason for her suspension in October. 

Amouranth remarked, pointing out that Twitch must explain the bans to the streamers; “They do it because they don’t want the accountability of telling you what you did wrong. They don’t want to be in charge of upholding their own policies.”

Amouranth expressed her dissatisfaction with her inability to figure out why she was suspended last year. You know, they didn’t seem to like my bird mask ASMR, I think,” she said, while showing widely discussed clips of her pigeon mask stream and licking microphones. “But, they didn’t actually tell me. Whatever I’ve been doing, I have to find it myself, but clearly, whatever it is, they don’t like it.” 

Twitch’s inaction in this matter has been described as “ridiculous” by Amouranth. She is angry and wants policies to change for the better. She has, however, assured her fans that she would not be leaving Twitch anytime soon.
