Amouranth Has Plans

Twitch streamer Amouranth has announced when she will finally deflate her hot tub toys and retire from content creation.

Amouranth is one of Twitch’s most popular streamers, as well as one of the most controversial, having received five bans. She has a large following on Instagram, OF, YouTube, and other sites in addition to the Amazon-owned platform. She’s made a fortune and enough money to never work again thanks to her fame, but her aspirations are far more complicated than that.

Now, Amouranth explained when she will retire and her future aspirations in a series of Twitter tweets.

Siragusa discussed her aim to build a big animal shelter in a November 25th post, and why individuals who object to her owning a gas station don’t understand how it actually helps. She brought up how one of her favorite shelters had concerns with their lack of online presence during the global health crisis, and how this may relate to her. She stated; “I have a hunch my online popularity is also fleeting so it would be dumb to start and run the org with a budget expecting to raise money year over year JUST to keep the lights on. At the scale I want to run it at, it would be irresponsible To just expect the support to always be there just because it’s there now.”

Amouranth’s purpose, according to her, is to produce content for as long as she can, but there’s a catch. She added; “I basically plan to grind it out as long and as hard as I can until either it doesn’t make sense anymore, or at some point the passive income > active income. This makes the most sense, this is the way to MAXIMIZE impact. Because passive income will only overtake active income in the scenario that I fall off a lot, OR my investments compound to the point of dwarfing anything I do actively (stream, 0F, etc).”

She went on to say that when she set her mind on this aim, she already had enough money saved to never work again, and she called out those who criticized her gas station purchase. The hot tub streamer added that by owning assets and making solid investments, she is able to build her money to the point where she can no longer stream.

It’s unclear when Amouranth will retire, but if she continues to make good moves, that day may come sooner rather than later.
