Amouranth Explains Why She Won’t Be Quitting Twitch

Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa has stated that she will not stop Twitch streaming as long as she has haters who want to drag her down, explaining that it gives her “boundless energy” to create content and prove them all wrong.

Last year, Amouranth completed the year as the undisputed queen of Twitch, with 203 million views, 4.9 million followers, and a claim to the platform’s throne. She admits that many of her followers were “haters.” But, as the stream-queen goes on to say, that’s fine since the same Twitch haters who are “waiting for [her] to fail” are the ones who encourage her to keep streaming every day and push her to do better. Amouranth explains that she will never retire as long as they remain.

She declared; “I will never burnout. Because my detractors are infinitely petty with their remarks, and the drive to prove them wrong is a renewable energy source.”

Amouranth made the Twitch vow on January 4, tweeting from her @wildkait account, promising to keep streaming as long as she has enemies.

However, there is one thing that has been bothering Amouranth recently: as her Twitch fame grows, so do the “dangers” of streaming to millions of people.

And, when the time comes for Siragusa to hang up the mics, deflate the pools, and retire as “Amouranth,” she’ll be prepared; the 28-year-old has purchased a gas station, a 7-Eleven, and amassed stock portfolios. She said; “I plan to grind as long and as hard as I can. until either, it doesn’t make sense anymore, or at some point, passive income overtakes active income.”
