Amount Of Money Markiplier Makes

Markiplier, a YouTube star, claims that his financial situation altered substantially once he became famous on the internet, to the point where he calls it “unfair.”

Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of the most well-known YouTubers today… and has been for several years. Since 2012, the 32-year-old YouTube star has been uploading videos to the video-sharing platform. He’s best known for his witty gaming videos, in which he plays horror games like the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ franchise while providing comments. Markiplier’s climb to stardom has been gradual and rapid since his debut on the site in 2012. He now has over 32 million subscribers and is frequently mentioned as one of the first influences that people think of when asked who their favorite YouTuber is.

Fischbach’s standing as a high-profile online personality makes it easy to believe he’s making money.  However, Markiplier claims that the amount of money he’s amassed over the course of his career is much more staggering than most people realize. 

During a recent interview with fellow YouTuber Anthony Padilla, he exclaimed, “People don’t understand just how much money falls out of the YouTube bucket! It’s unfair. I’m not trying to brag or anything. I’ve wrestled with this a lot over the years — just how much money I suddenly fell into. It messed with me. I knew what it was like to not have. And then suddenly, I had, way more than I ever needed. I was like, ‘What do people even do with this?’”

Mark claims to donate a big percentage of his extra cash to charity, something he’s been known to do for years, having previously organized a number of charity live streams. Mark’s visit on Anthony Padilla’s show comes after the publication of his interactive video series ‘In Space with Markiplier,’ which has racked up over 15 million views.
