Adin Ross, who is a popular Twitch streamer and YouTuber known for playing Grand Theft Auto: Online RP & NBA 2K and having over 3.8 million followers on the platform, have been recently banned from twitch after another streamer who was also in his stream have dropped a homophobic slur during stream. During Adin’s short live broadcast on April 10th, he was streaming together with YouTuber Zias. Zias is known for reacting to music videos and vlogging.

In the stream, Twitch streamer Adin Ross have took a phone call and when Zias answered the phone, he proceeded to call Adin some homophobic slurs. According to some viewers, Adin quickly contacted a twitch mod regarding the situation asking if he get banned because of what happened and as a response, they informed the streamer that he will be fine given it was Zias who said the homophobic slur. However, even though Zias was the one who said the slur, Adin Ross has been handed a ban anyway so Adin took over twitter informing to his fans that he got banned from twitch. He wrote; “Just got banned on twitch. Wtf bro”.

Because of this, a lot of his fans have started a hashtag to show their support to the streamer as his followers started the ‘#FreeAdin’ movement to clear his ban as they claim that it was unfair. Adin later tweeted the hashtag, stating; “Free Adin #freeadin. Mfs don’t wanna see me win. All G tho… let’s hope it’s not a perm.” It is still unknown for how long the ban will be as according to Adin himself, he said in his instagram live that he was not sure how long the ban will be. However, considering that this is Adin’s first ban in almost a year, he might just be getting a 24-hour ban or a 3-day ban rather than an out-and-out perma ban.
