MANILA, Philippines AcadArena, the country’s premier campus esports program, is now accepting scholarship applications for its scholarship programs.

In September 2020, AcadArena and Globe Telecom announced the Globe-AcadArena Merit Esports Scholarship, which is open to all aspiring students from accredited student organizations who are members of AcadArena’s Alliance program..

AcadArena is introducing four new scholarships each month, in addition to the Globe-AcadArena Merit Esports Scholarship for Competitive and Leadership Merit and the Globe-AcadArena Good Game Grant (G3)-Family, which were awarded at the AcadArena awards in February.

The Globe-AcadArena Good Game Grants will now be given out on a monthly basis. Aside from the Family category, there will now be a Study category dedicated to assisting student gamers with their research. The Globe-AcadArena Good Game Grant (G3)-Study will provide up to Php10,000 per month to one student-gamer for their research or thesis needs.

The AcadArena Women in Esports (AWE) program, which awards Php15,000 in tuition coverage to two female student gamers per month, is also partnered with Globe, paving the way for the future female gamers.

AcadArena has also teamed up with Logitech to assist students-gamers who are struggling to adjust to the new normal. The Gear Aid powered by Logitech G is a monthly grant that will provide three students with cutting-edge gaming and academic equipment. G512 Keyboard, G502 Mouse, and G431 Headset will be given to the winners.

Finally, AcadArena has launched a monthly grant with Twitch, a streaming platform. Twitch Student’s Creator Grant will give two students streamers Php15,000 to help them launch their careers as content creators.
