$10K Goal for Sparkling Sprite

Katelyn Miller aka streamer “Sparkling Sprite” is a video game streamer and one of the first streamers to get partnered with Facebook Gaming.

Miller decided to give back this Holiday Season. She’s partnering with Marine Toys for Tots on a holiday drive via her 12 Days of Christmas stream. The fundraiser began on December 12th. Her goal is to raise $10,000 for the charity over that span of time. Currently, her page has raised over $2,700 in direct donations. Miller will also be using half of all her money earned during the 12 day fundraiser to purchase toys herself and donate them directly to the York Toys for Tots chapter after the charity event concludes on December 23.  It’s one of several fundraisers she’s done for local and national charities, including raising over $2,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, over $1,000 for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and $670 for Stack Up on Veteran’s Day this past year. 

“Sparkling Sprite” also encouraged every individual to be really positive. She reminded us also that video games should be a positive place for everyone especially during this holiday season.
