YouTube Versus Twitch Debate

Some popular streamers including the Facebook gaming streamer Jeremy Wang aka Disguised Toast and the Youtube streamer Corpse Husband recently shared some of his thoughts surrounding the Twitch versus Youtube debate.

Without a doubt, Twitch and YouTube are the two biggest streaming platforms over the years as it gives the content creators the tools that they need to reach their audience.

Streamers such as Disguised Toast and Corpse Husband are no stranger to both platforms as Toast was once a Twitch streamer before he moved to Facebook while Corpse is a popular Youtube personality and has recently streamed for the first time on Twitch. As with every streaming platform, YouTube and Twitch have their own unique perks. Many streamers often utilize both platforms to maximize their audience and reach viewers from all over the world.

During a recent stream, Disguised Toast and Corpse Husband have weighed in on the Twitch vs YouTube debate as they both share their thoughts on both platforms. It started when Toast asked Corpse if he enjoys streaming on twitch compared to youtube. In response,Corpse explained that he thinks Twitch is much more friendly and that youtube needs a lot of work. Corpse has recently hit 1 million followers on twitch even though he only streams once on the platform, however, despite this, Corpse has scarcely used Twitch and instead of becoming a Twitch partner, the content creator continues to enjoy the freedom of streaming on both video-sharing sites.

When Toast asks him if corpse is a partner on Twitch, Corpse responded; “I have nothing on Twitch. I don’t want to be exclusive to anybody, you know? I definitely don’t recommend signing anything with Twitch right now.”

Corpse Husband also shared that what scares him on Twitch is that when OBS is going to malfunction and accidentally show his desktop. While on youtube, considering he is a faceless streamer, he has been editing his videos on youtube for years and he can edit those anytime anything could go wrong.
