You Can Order Popeyes Through Twitch

Popeyes is now letting customers to purchase meals from the restaurant in a similar way, days after a TikTok video went viral showing someone unintentionally purchasing a digital Popeyes menu rather than a television.

Shortly after the video went viral on social media, Popeyes opened its own Twitch channel, where you can actually place an order for Popeyes and watch it stream for the majority of the day. 

You can enter any text you want into the stream’s chat by using appropriate chat commands. The bots running the stream will utilize it to direct your browser to the Popeyes website, where a prepared cart with your selections will be waiting for you. Old footage on the company’s Twitch page indicate that the stream is live for five to eight hours per day. Popeyes has been prepared when it comes to its digital media footprint ever since it released its first chicken sandwich three years ago, effectively starting the Chicken Sandwich Wars. Free food has been offered in previous promotions to those who unintentionally misspelled the McDonald’s domain name.

According to a statement sent to Bloomberg by Restaurant Brands, the parent firm of Popeyes; “Our franchisees have worked to increase staffing. We have been working diligently to bring the sandwich back to our restaurants soon, as we know our guests are anxiously anticipating its return.” 

One Popeyes spokesperson said; “We have seen an extraordinary demand for the new Popeyes Chicken Sandwich following our nationwide launch on August 12. It has been amazing to see our guests share their love for our brand and for the new Chicken Sandwich on social media and beyond, and we are truly humbled and grateful for their support.”

The most recent alteration made by Popeyes was the addition of a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich to its menu, in addition to the original and spicy options. 

Popeyes President Sami Siddiqui offered in a press release; “Two years ago, our Chicken Sandwich reintroduced the world to our chicken mastery, and we have not stopped innovating since. We have a lot of fun experimenting with new flavors in our test kitchen, and this Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich is one I’m especially excited to bring to our guests.”
