xQc’s Take On Kai Cenat Success

For Kai Cenat, 2022 has been a historic year. The 20-year-old Twitch star recently overtook Felix “xQc” Lengyel as the second-most subscribed streamer on the service on August 27th. However, a sizable group of vocal haters publicly disparaged him on social media while the majority of people were happy for him. xQc called these people out for their actions.

There were no offensive racist insults in the remarks. They insulted his community, his content, and more while downplaying his popularity. The response was labeled as racist by some people, and xQc agreed. He claimed that because his success makes people feel “threatened,” they disparage it in order to feel better about themselves. Because he is Black, he argued, certain people behave in that manner. 

xQc said; “I’m just gonna say it, man. I’ll give you another reason why people act like some hoes about it. It’s because he’s Black. Yeah, I fucking said it, man. I actually said it!”

xQc persisted and continued to call them names; “Some bitch ass suckers are malding that some Black people are climbing in a bunch of places. They’re malding, and they don’t know how to word their dogshit.”

IShowSpeed is another Black streamer who has had significant success this year. He has the fastest rate of growth among YouTube streamers and had the highest level of viewership in June. The French-Canadian celebrity xQc stated he couldn’t wait for more Black streamers to succeed on Twitch and YouTube because he’d love to see haters “mald” at seeing them on the main page. He was probably alluding to his and Cenat’s meteoric rise. 

Regarding the initial responses to Kai Cenat’s streaming success, Asmongold also had something to say. The MMO king, however, blasted Twitch for not making a big deal out of it, which he believes they should have done, instead of taking a shot at the haters. After all, Cenat’s surge in popularity is impressive. He has more YouTube subscribers than seasoned streamers Hasan and NICKMERCS, and his popularity there is expanding as well.
