xQc’s Identity Stolen

TSM’s QTCinderella hosted a Twitch celebrity-packed event called Shitcamp 2021 at the end of September, where top streamers like xQcOW, Ludwig, Hasanabi, Sodapoppin, and Justaminx stayed at a house in Los Angeles and took part in a variety of activities.

On Sodapoppin’s Twitch channel, for example, the group hosted a “PJ Party” stream on Sept. 28. xQc, Myth, and others dressed up and posed with each other during the PJ party, resulting in over 700,000 views on the stream.

Unfortunately, during Shitcamp, some fans went too far. Ludwig explained on a Sept. 30 stream after Shitcamp ended, “People on the internet are fucking weird… “Someone discovered the address of the [Shitcamp] location.” Fans began to show up to the various events that were taking place, such as the kickball tournament featuring members of 100 Thieves and OfflineTV, he said. He described the fans as “lurking around the field.”

But the strangest thing happened the night of September 29th at the Shitcamp house.

The security guard let the person in without consulting any of the Twitch streamers at Shitcamp, according to Ludwig. Ludwig assumed the unexpected visitor was a stream sniper looking for a photo with xQc.

After Ludwig revealed that xQc’s identity had been stolen to catfish people in Los Angeles, xQc took to his stream to express his displeasure with Ludwig’s decision to make the story public.

Ludwig replied, “I don’t know, but X looked hot in drag, I won’t lie,” when asked by his chat if people actually believed that xQc was a girl.
