xQc Shows Off His Messy Room

Felix “xQc” Lengyel, a well-known and controversial Twitch streamer, stunned his audience on Thursday by releasing footage of areas of the streaming room that are typically off-camera.

Only a few bags are on the countertop, and there isn’t much else to distract from the home’s plain decor in the backdrop. However, there is a big amount of trash hidden from the former professional Overwatch player’s webcam’s view.

Before playing Elden Ring in a 4-player co-op, he spends the first several hours of the Twitch stream watching strange videos that were uploaded on his subreddit. While watching a video of himself dancing during the first hour, xQc leaves the scene to get a coffee. As he approaches his workstation after returning from the second floor, he throws some trash to the ground. The streamer then launches into a brief tirade about his room as a result. He picks up the camera and moves it to his left, displaying a mountain of trash that is primarily made up of packaging and fast food bags. Coffee cups, plastic bottles, soda cups, and cans of all kinds are piled up in the desk corner.

Even Asmongold, a streamer notorious for having a dirty room, would be impressed by the mess, even if Asmongold has begun cleaning his place. Lengyel shifts his attention lightheartedly to his hair although not seeming overly pleased with the scenario himself.

Comments criticizing the mess immediately begin to fill the stream chat. The streamer throws more trash on top of the pile without seeming perturbed by the response. Although it may come across as unsettling, xQc’s audience is drawn to him in part because he doesn’t take streaming too seriously. He has even hinted in the past that he would stop broadcasting on Twitch if he no longer enjoys it. The content and attitude of the streaming celebrity toward broadcasting have not changed, not even after xQc was banned from YouTube and many times from Twitch. The once-pro Overwatch player is obviously doing it for pleasure and isn’t worrying about the implications in terms of money or anything else.

He consistently ranks among the top broadcasters on the planet, with over 10 million Twitch followers, and has amassed over a billion YouTube views. That should demonstrate that whatever he is doing is effective.
