xQc Shares His Thoughts About Twitch And YouTube

Felix “xQc” Lengyel thought long and hard after watching the video of Leslie “Fuslie” Fu announcing her switch from Twitch to YouTube and came to the conclusion that platforms would compete in the future to sign entire streamer organizations.

It all began with a straightforward idea. According to xQc, OfflineTV could have made more money if they had played their cards well and persuaded YouTube to sign them, their pals, and a group agreement rather than individually. He said; “What if OfflineTV banded together and said, ‘Yo dude. You can’t have any of us on YouTube unless you give us a package. You can buy all of OTV for $200 million,”

He insisted that it might have worked out. He added; “They could have easily gotten at least 100 million. Probably more than that. All of OTV could have gotten more than that.”

Because xQc was so persuaded by his theory, he came to the conclusion that it will eventually become the industry norm. he said; “I think this formula will be more and more common in the next decade. It’s going to become the industry standard to buy out either a section of a community, an organization or a piece of something as a whole in one tap. This is the future of the industry. I’m telling you.”

If he is right, according to xQc, he will establish a large streaming company with other well-known figures like Pokelawls, Jesse, Adin Ross, and Kai Cenat—all of whom are now unsigned—and set a one billion dollar asking price. “It’ll be payable in a lump sum only,” he added.

Anything like installment payments or the like would not be acceptable. His imaginary crew would require about $250 million for each member. Time will only tell if he is correct. Though it’s an intriguing possibility, he might eventually move platforms—but only if YouTube is prepared to pay him generously.
