xQc Is Grounded

The most popular content creator on Twitch, xQc, had a father-son conversation that led to him being briefly removed from his broadcast.

xQc’s father appeared to approach the streamer during a TikTok binge session thirteen hours into his nonstop show. Chat quickly realized what was about to happen between the father and son pair as their streamer was about to be pulled away for a feared and all-too-familiar parental chat. 

xQc’s dad said; “Say goodbye to your friends. You’re done, time to go.”

Although xQc tried to object, his father was certain that they needed to have a “meeting.” A common euphemism for a parental punishment, the streamer’s father ominously declared that he had to read his son the “riot act of life” in a menacing manner. Even though XQc was persuaded to quit his stream for only a brief 20-minute conversation, he first resisted the idea that it was still too early for their ostensibly pre-scheduled father-son conversation. 

Since the streamer made no mention of the conversation that had initially drawn him away, chat was left to conjecture as to what xQc’s conversation with his father might have been about. There are undoubtedly many aspects of xQc that a parent or guardian would find concerning, such as his lengthy streams—which are frequently over 15 hours long—or his gambling tendencies. 

But for the time being, it appears that just xQc and his father are speaking.
