xQc Health Update

Felix “xQc” Lengyel, a dominant figure on Twitch, recently shared a health update on Twitter and disclosed that he is sick with the flu. This comes a day after he said that the illness is one of his worst and released a negative Covid test with his followers.

xQc tweeted a gaming pun about getting one-tapped by the flu, which is a gaming term for being eliminated instantly: “Update: this flu is 1tapping me. Worst one I’ve ever had.” 

Following a significant loss on a wager on the Argentina vs. France FIFA World Cup final game, Felix recently made news once more. According to his own Twitter posts, Felix lost close to $500,000 on the wager. It seems that the Canadian streamer’s unfortunate circumstances extended beyond a gaming loss. Yesterday night, he confessed in a late-night post that he had been feeling pain in his chest and other areas of his body ever since he ended his stream. “Everything that could of gone wrong, went wrong today. Even after I went offline. Until I got up the stairs and just felt pain in my lungs and pretty much all over my body.”

Although xQc’s coronavirus test came back negative, he reported that the illness was extremely painful and was “obliterating” him even though it wasn’t the dreaded Covid-19; “Test says negative, but whatever sickness I have is obliterating me. Fun times.”
