Valorant saves career of G2 Mixwell

Oscar Canellas, aka Mixwell is a popular Twitch streamer who was once a big name in the CS:GO community. He is a former pro for OpTic gaming and he won the ELEAGUE Season 2 Championship way back in 2016. Since then OpTic released Mixwell from their team and his career has never quite recovered from then. He tried to play for multiple teams after that, such as for the team Cloud9 but he was never able to succeed the same way he did with OpTic. He took a break from CS:GO earlier in 2020. While he was taking a break, he discovered the game Valorant and he found love for this game.

The Twitch streamer stated during an interview; “The game was really fun for me. I could play 10 hours a day like I used to play CS before and I wasn’t tired of playing it, and that’s a thing I couldn’t do in CS anymore”. Because of this, he decided to retire from being a CS:GO pro and switch to Valorant. He also tweeted out on his Twitter account his love for this game stating that Valorant had given him a chance to redeem himself after not being able to stay on top of his CS:GO career.

He said that he has learned so much from his mistakes and so he was getting started to stay and to keep everyone entertained. Valorant helped the former CS:GO pro revitalize his career in an exciting fashion, and you can expect to see a lot more jaw-dropping plays from him in the future. Additionally, It didn’t take long for the Esports organization to notice how good Mixwell is. He helped form the G2 roster, which has absolutely dominated the early Valorant professional scene in Europe.
