Valkyrae Speaks About Her Dad

The well-known streamer Valkyrae, often known as Rae, recounted how her father once initially believed she works for PayPal.

It’s not simple to become a well-known YouTube streamer, and Valkyrae has even made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2022. In fact, she had tweeted in 2021 about how she wished to be included on a Forbes list, only to appear on it the following year.  She currently has more than 3.6 million YouTube subscribers. Rae switched from Twitch to YouTube in 2020 as a result of a multi-year exclusivity agreement with YouTube. She is also a co-owner of the successful game company and lifestyle brand 100 Thieves.

Rae said in a recent interview that the well-known content producer had once tweeted some really personal things about her life. The YouTube sensation was the subject of an interesting interview on Twitter Gaming, a Valkyrae fan account, as well as some of her earlier tweets.

She tweeted about missing her father, but most of them made her chuckle and made her feel a little nostalgic.

Valkyrae opened up when she read the tweet about how she still wishes her father was present to see her. She reminisced, “I really wish my Dad was here to see… all of this stuff that has been going on recently. He truly never understood… what I did. For some reason he though I worked for PayPal… when I was streaming,” she reveals as she burst out laughing! He really was not tech savvy, but he just knew that I was playing games for a living and he was really proud of me.”

Back in 2017, Valkyrae’s father passed away from cancer. She has now been open on social media about how much she misses her dad. She has experienced the toughest of all emotions—the kind of pain that losing a parent defines as extreme.
