Valkyrae Reveals Sleeping With Knife Beside Her

Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, co-owner of 100 Thieves and a popular YouTube streamer, displayed a huge knife on stream after a shady night at her LA home, explaining why she had to sleep with it beside her.

Valkyrae has amassed a large fan base over the years and is one of the most recognizable faces in the streaming industry. Unfortunately, we’ve seen some of those fan bases’ bad actors go too far in their attacks on the social media personalities they follow. After hearing an odd sound in the middle of the night on the eve of her Feb 23rd stream, the 30-year-old 100T executive was afraid of something similar happening. 

Valkyrae explained; “I slept with this because we heard a really loud noise. It sounded like someone was breaking in last night… We slept with all the lights on.” 

Members of the streaming house investigated the peculiar sound and concluded that it was raccoons invading the trash cans, which had not been put out for weekly pickup. However, they were unable to confirm their suspicions. Valkyrae has a tendency of picking up big blades and displaying them on the wall for special occasions like this. 

She added; “It was kind of nice. Because I did feel like someone was breaking in and I really liked that I went and grabbed my knife off the wall like I always envisioned.”

Valkyrae showed her stream the massive knife she chose in her moment of bravery, which was fortunately not needed. There have been several reports throughout the years from streamers with huge and small audiences who have experienced troubling events with their followers. Pokimane, as well as TikTok stars like Charlie D’Amelio, have had such interactions. Despite the fact that Rae’s home is protected by security systems, the streamer appeared to be ready to utilize her weapons if the worst happened.
