Valkyrae Plays Fortnite Together With SSSniperWolf

Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter, a YouTube personality, faced controversy after announcing that she will be playing Fortnite alongside SSSniperWolf.

One of the most popular live-streamers on the internet is Valkyrae. The YouTube sensation has won awards, collaborated with high-fashion brands, and even ventured into business as a co-owner of 100 Thieves. However, with so many Ws, there will inevitably be times when you take a L – whether intentionally or unintentionally. Rae, on the other hand, has recently come under criticism for claiming to have played Fortnite with a rumored controversial content creator. 

SSSniperwolf has been embroiled in controversy after it was revealed that she reportedly ghosted a terminally ill fan in December 2021 after promising to call her. SSSniperwolf detractors weighed in on the situation after she tweeted on December 28th that she had contacted the young supporter. They criticized her for not maintaining her word at first. On April 5, 2022, Valkyrae tweeted that she was playing Fortnite off-stream with Pokimane and SSSniperwolf. The criticism was fast, with her followers asking why Rae would ever identify herself with SSSniperwolf and being perplexed by her seemingly nonchalant admission. 

Valkyrae responded in response to an aggressive now-deleted tweet from a supporter named @Staddish_; “What? I wasn’t aware of her history, and I’m very much so uninformed about everybody’s past. I’m deleting it just because I don’t want controversial comments. Please don’t try to twist this in any way.”

Valkyrae admitted that knowing everything about everyone is unrealistic, but she “welcomes being informed.” 

Valkyrae tweeted in a separate tweet; “I’m pretty unaware and uneducated about many things in life like most people, but I welcome being informed!! So plz don’t attack others for it And if you’re trying to educate others, please do it in a kind way”

While the criticism appears to have subsided at Valkyrae’s request, SSSniperwolf has yet to comment on the situation. After this backlash, it’ll be interesting to see where their budding friendship goes from here.
