Valkyrae Opinion About Pokimane’s Twitch Drama

Pokimane is always drawn into Twitch drama, according to Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter, who claims people target her because she is the world’s top female streamer.

Pokimane’s Twitch stream was shut down on January 12 after “hate raids” planned by Jidion, another content creator, infiltrated her chat. Other streamers, notably xQc, jumped to her support. Jidion maintains that his dislike for her is unrelated to her gender. Rae, on the other hand, feels it was motivated by clout and viewership. She also believes it is the reason Poki is often dragged into trouble.

Here’s what Valkyrae said; “The whole Poki thing that happened is so depressing. I feel so bad for her. The blatant harassment and misogyny and how this dude just entirely benefits from it. I can’t stop thinking about how it works like that. There is no one that goes through as much drama as she does because of the position that she is in. Because she is the number one female streamer in the world, she goes through this stuff because people just use her for clout.”

Rae asserted that all content creators need to do to improve their popularity is mention Poki’s name in the video title. “People just use her for views, and blatantly. It’s crazy!  It just baffles my mind what people will do for clout and success.”

Rae also expressed her admiration for Poki’s ability to handle and respond to drama, characterizing her as “so well-spoken.” She remains hopeful, though, that people will cease harassing her friend. “I just can’t believe the stuff that she’s been through for the past few years.”
