Valkyrae Compared To Dog

Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter, a YouTube streamer, was taken aback when some of her fans compared her to a Chihuahua. 

Valkyrae has been able to reach a wide range of people as one of the most prominent streamers and content creators in the space, resulting in a large following of over 3.6 million subscribers. Her fans are known for showing their love for the designer, even surprising her with a beautiful birthday present earlier this year. Instead of receiving love and appreciation from her fans, the YouTube sensation found herself on the receiving end of some playful mocking.

During one of Valkyrae’s recent April streams, it was brought to her attention that her fans were comparing her to a Chihuahua. She said; “So, I was just minding my own business. Browsing Twitter, and I also see on the Rae Twitter page: ‘If Rae were a dog breed, what would she be?’”

According to the streamer, the vast majority of her fans thought of her as a Chihuahua, which she strongly disagreed with. She said; “I do not give off full Chihuahua energy, okay? I am more than that, ‘kay? I am way more than that. I’ll have you know.” 

Not satisfied with the Chihuahua analogy, Valkyrae went on to describe what kind of dog she’d be if she were a dog — and although giving an entirely different breed, Rae still included a Chihuahua in her description. “I think I’m more of a Rottweiler — a Rottweiler Chihuahua mix, maybe.”

While being compared to a Chihuahua isn’t great for the streamer, Rae’s fantasies of being a more dangerous dog might help her in her part as a villain in Funimation’s Tribe Nine anime.
