Valkyrae Apologizes

The internet is a swamp of shady behavior and drama just waiting to happen. That truth has been more clear than ever before, thanks to the stratospheric rise of streaming as a realistic career option. For example, there was the famed Pokimane-JiDion drama this year, which quickly grew to include Fortnite sensation Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. In a welcome turn of events, an impending Valkyrae drama was put out before it could start.

The Streamer Awards 2022 provided several extremely fun and family-friendly moments. The Streamer Awards recap video, which Valkyrae had some hot thoughts on, was one of the popular favorites. But, as QTCinderella quickly discovered, that wasn’t the whole story.

Valkyrae recently shared her view on the Streamer Awards 2022 for the uninitiated. She spoke highly of the event, even applauding QTCinderella and Maya Higa for organizing such a large gathering. However, the co-owner of 100 Thieves was seen discussing the Recap video in an out-of-context clip. “There wasn’t a single person from like OTV…” she says. Rae also mentioned that the video appeared to be OTK. As you may expect, this irritated a lot of people. QTCinderella, in particular, responded with, “That’s an unfair comment.”

‘The Queen of YouTube’ also mentioned that they displayed people who switched from Twitch to YouTube, but she was not one of them. Rae quit the platform in 2020, while they included others who left in 2021, according to QT.

The spiciest section, though, is still to come. Valkyrae quickly added that she and many of her peers were left out of the ‘Among Us’ part. This statement struck a chord with QT, who said solemnly, “Oh, that makes me feel really bad.”

She apologized excessively on stream to everyone who didn’t make the cut to make up for the mistake, especially since she approved the video.

Valkyrae and QT connected over the phone in a charming turn of events, and the two exchanged a cornucopia of apologies and praises. Rae stated that she enjoyed the occasion and that the out-of-context clip portrays a twisted view. This tweet properly expresses it.
