Twitter Helped Valkyrae With Stalker Who Doxxed Her

Popular Youtube streamer Rachel Hofstetter aka Valkyrae has become one of the biggest streamers as she has risen in popularity in the year 2020 with the help of playing the popular game among Us together with her friends and fellow streamers. Without a doubt, Valkyrae has a huge fan base across her social media accounts.

Earlier this January, an unwanted stalker tried to get her attention by bombarding her with messages. Because of this stalker, she had to go private with her twitter account as she revealed that the said stalker had even doxxed her, revealing her address. Doxing, or doxxing, is the Internet-based practice of researching and publicly broadcasting private or identifying information about an individual or organization. She asked twitter for help shortly afterwards on January 13th. She unprivated her Twitter account and thanked twitter for helping her out.

During one of her recent streams, Valkyrae spoke about the delusional stalker that leaked her address. She stated; “100 Thieves reached out to me, and said that they have direct connections with Twitter. Twitter asked me for screenshots and stuff. I sent them screenshots of them posting my address, and they took care of it. They actually took care of it. And I haven’t heard of this person since. This person is gone. Either he died or the FBI got him.”
