Twitch Streamer Cdew Speechless

While participating in a subathon to help his Twitch channel expand, streaming sensation Trainwreck surprised Twitch streamer ‘Cdew’ by adding several days to the event with a massive gift.

On Twitch, Subathons have grown highly popular, with streamers taking part in extraordinarily long streams, with each new sub or donation adding time to the broadcast duration. Cdew had planned to start at 8 hours, with each donation adding one minute to the total time. With 2 kids and a pregnant wife, he said on Twitter that this could be challenging for him, but he was eager to attempt it. Trainwreck turned up with little over 18 hours left on his stream to drop massive stacks to stretch the broadcast a long way.

Trainwreck slipped in and gave $7,500 out of the blue while the World of Warcraft streamer was playing his game. Cdew’s subathon timer went from 18:17 to 143:22 in a matter of seconds, adding five days to the stream. He didn’t notice what had happened at first, but after a while, he merely stared at the television in shock and raised his hands above his head in disbelief. 

He gasped; “What the f**k? Train, what the f**k, man? That is… what?”

On Twitter, he thanked the donor, describing his acts as “insane,” prompting Train to simply respond with a heart.
