‘Gross’ Twitch Messages From Banned Fans Exposed

Twitch streamer Imane Ays aka Pokimane has been going through her twitch unbanned request recently and making it a content. As Twitch now allows streamers to review their unban requests from users who their moderators have banned from chat, some streamers such as Pokimane have found it often makes for entertaining content. Last month, Pokimane uploaded a youtube video revealing some unbanned messages.

Now, she is back at it again and this time, it was completely unfiltered. On March 14th, she uploaded a video on her main youtube account where she was reacting to even weirder Twitch unban requests. Some messages are shocking and appalling, and although she laughs them off, it shows people a small part of what she has to deal with as a Twitch streaming star. On the video, the the first user was banned for asking in her chat; “can you pop a tt for the boys?”, and the second viewer wrote; “big ttty b*tch, bend over”, multiple times. The vulgar messages get worse and worse. Pokimane admitted that the messages are ‘frustrating’ and ‘irritating,’ and they’re definitely not okay.

But she chose to laugh at them this time around, which inadvertently still raises awareness. She stated during the video; “In the past, it was just me reading this day in and day out. But at least now, I can turn it into content, and we can all laugh a little bit. So, at least I finally got something out of it. The bottom line is… please just stop. I’m going to keep banning you. Some of these really gross me out, and I don’t want to have to read these when I’m trying to play games with my fans. Thankfully my mods delete these most of the time.”
