Twitch Changes Lesbian Flag Emote

Streaming platform Twitch changed the Lesbian flag emote following Community demands after people from the LGBTGIA+ community sent many demands. Twitch finally changed the emote correlating with the flag. Its original version was considered transphobic.

The highly requested in the LGBTQIA+ community regarding the original lesbian flag has been heard by Twitch and they now finally changed the lesbian flag on its platform.

Lesbian Flag has two different versions, which are the original pink lesbian flags and the new orange/sunset lesbian flag that has gained more traction in the past years and also has been adopted by more inclusive member of the community.

Rumors and accusations regarding the ‘Pink Lesbian Flag’s’ creator has been said to being transphobic, biphobic, and racist. The creator has been seen posting in a now-deleted blog post that he hates Asian women and that it is not her type at all.

The Pink Lesbian flag creator deny these claims but the lesbian community is not happy at all and moved on from using ‘Pink Flag’ to ‘New Sunset’ one.

Users of the platform is happy with Twitch finally changing and listening to its user but some still have to say and being skeptical that streaming platform Twitch waited and decided to change the flag exactly this Pride Month but regardless to that, they are pleased and really happy to see this change, proving that the streaming platform Twitch is making efforts to move in the right direction on inclusivity.
