Twitch CEO Dan Clancy Went Live

Dan Clancy, the CEO of Twitch, entertained his followers by singing and playing music while going live on the network.

Emmett Shear, a co-founder of Twitch, left his position as CEO in March after 16 years in charge of the well-known livestreaming website. On the same day, Shear resigned from his position as president of Twitch, and Dan Clancy assumed control of the Amazon-owned website. On May 10, Clancy performed live on his Twitch account, wowing many of his fans with his musical and vocal prowess.

During the show, Dan Clancy took to the stage with a keyboard and a microphone to perform John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” TwitchTracker recorded 157 viewers at the stream’s peak and 159 people watched him for the entire three hours that he was live. Over 30,000 people have watched a clip of Clancy singing the well-known song after the broadcast finished.

Fans were keen to offer their opinions about Dan Clancy’s musical broadcast when the clip instantly went viral on Reddit.
