TinaKitten Responds to Twitter Trend

Twitch streamer TinaKitten recently responded to the hashtag campaign that wanted her and twitch streamer Sykkuno to be verified on twitter. TinaKitten is a South Korean twitch star who is known for her beautiful looks, cute smile and amazing personality. Tina has amassed a huge following on her twitch channel and on twitter, however, she still doesn’t have that little check beside her name on twitter which indicates that she has not yet verified.

Getting the verified checkmark on Twitter used to be a pretty significant point for many content creators and getting that checkmark is not all that difficult for some streamers. However, some other streamers such as Tinakitten and Sykkuno and more have been waiting to get their own blue tick to grace their Twitter account. On April 10th, tinakitten and sykkuno’s fans started a hashtag trend on twitter as they kickstarted a campaign for them to get verified on twitter. They began tweeting out the hashtags, #VerifyTina and #VerifySykkuno. These two hashtag have quickly became trend on twitter with many fans supporting the move. Now, tinakitten have responds to the hashtags as she wrote; “Perhaps I do not want to be verified! perhaps my friends still like me without it!”

Several other streamers have replied to Tina’s tweet jokingly offering their own verified checkmark. Streamer 5up joined in the joke as he wrote that the checkmark is not that cool. Tina replied stating; “omg u can just give me yours then!!! thanks 5up you’re the best”. Given the popularity of both Tina and Sykkuno, a verified checkmark is probably coming their way at some point.
