TimTheTatman Defends Ninja’s Return To Twitch

“I think adults can see it. I don’t think kids can see or understand it. Healthy competition’s good man, there’s nothing wrong with it… Like, you gotta put more respect on Tyler’s name bro. I know he’s one of my best buddies, I love him like a brother, but friendship aside, you just look at it statistically and look at what he did bro. He pushed the streaming scene to the next level with viewership, playing with Drake, live events at New York City, all that stuff… and that made all the other exclusivities popping up because Tyler took that leap.”, TimTheTatman, stated as he defended Ninja, being called out as a ‘sell out’.

Ninja, has become popular on Twitch and has become the number one most followed streamer on the platform. He suddenly moved over to stream exclusively on Mixer and it became controversial. As Tyler Blevins aka Ninja, returned and signed an exclusive deal with Twitch again after Microsoft Mixer shut down, most of his fans were happy but some were calling him a ‘sellout’ to Mixer.

Ninja’s close friend and a co-streamer TimTheTatman, defended him during his live broadcast ‘the real impact Tyler’s had on the gaming scene’. He also mentioned during his stream that whoever calls Ninja, a sellout might be a youngster with an unrealistic brand of loyalty. He explained it by comparing it with a hypothetical scenario; “Let me give you a hypothetical: You’re working at McDonald’s. Someone comes up to you and says, I’ll give you 10 million dollars, 20 million dollars to work at Burger King… Are you gonna be taking that money? Or you’re gonna be like, ‘Nah, I’m not gonna sell out. McDonald’s for life!’”.
