The TimTheTatman Debate

A Call of Duty content creator and popular YouTube streamer TimTheTatman, has weighed in on the controller vs. mouse and keyboard debate, which has resurfaced.

For FPS players, especially those who play Call of Duty, the debate over controller vs. mouse and keyboard is nothing new. In fact, there are plenty of players in the pro ranks who prefer one option over the other.

Despite the fact that both devices have their own set of strengths and weaknesses, a number of well-known content creators have weighed in on the ongoing debate.

Dr Disrespect and TSM Myth recently attacked controller players on Twitter, claiming that aim assist is broken. Their remarks have revived an age-old debate, with many CDL pros and CoD content creators weighing in on the subject. TimTheTatman, on the other hand, has now entered the ring.

You’ll notice that TimTheTatman prefers to play FPS games with a mouse and keyboard if you watch his Warzone streams. Tim, unlike the other big streamers, does not appear to be bothered by controller players, which is obviously a matter of taste.

The Two Time said on Twitter that he ain’t nothing without his aim. TSM Myth quickly responded, saying he’d never put a controller player in his top ten greatest FPS players of all.

As you might expect, this did not sit well with controller players, especially those in the CDL. Nadeshot even responded against Myth’s remark, claiming that his opinion didn’t matter.

He said that when someone slandered some of the best players in the world simply because they use a controller, your opinion was thrown out the window. They don’t know what it takes unless they have competed against others on the mainstage.

While the debate over controllers vs. keyboards continues to rage online, TimTheTatman’s relaxed attitude is refreshing. After all, each option has its own set of advantages and disadvantages.
