Amazon’s owned gaming streaming platform is undoubtedly becoming more and more popular these days amidst the pandemic. Some people have been starting streaming in order to earn money even while inside of their homes by just streaming games. Some people have also made an account on Twitch for promotion purposes because they know that streaming has been successful engaging many young people out there. Audiences have watched over 7.46 billion hours of content across all live streaming platforms in just this quarter alone.

There is a possibility that the Twitch platform could be used for the next buzzy Marketing due to its popularity. Just like the recent move of the American politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka AOC who recently created a Twitch channel and stream of the popular game Among Us together with the biggest streamers on twitch in order to promote voting among the youth who are watching her stream. It was successful because they nearly beat Twitch’s record for the most concurrent viewers, at 435,000 people.

In addition to that, also the American makeup artist Michelle Phan hosted last week the game League of Legends on Twitch livestream to promote her cosmetics brand’s product launch. Commercials for the new product and links to purchase appeared on screen during the game.
