Tfue Sues FaZe Clan

After Tfue (Turner Tenney) filed a lawsuit against FaZe Clan saying that their contract is exploitative and illegal, the popular Esports organization FaZe Clan fired back and filed suit against Tfue saying that Tfue violated their contract by backstabbing their company and trying to create a new organization to become their rival. The organization claims that Tfue had made more than $20 million from streaming and other sponsorships and Tfue didn’t even share his income with them.

Tfue counters back to FaZe that he’d sue them to void his contract with their organization FaZe Clan. Tfue also seeks repayment of his sponsorship, fees, and commissions, as well as additional compensatory damages and punitive damages. It further alleges that FaZe breached its fiduciary duty of loyalty by failing to share profits with him as mandated by the terms of his agreement and by rejecting a sponsorship deal and acting against his best interests.

“Faze Clan taught Tenney how to be more than just a skilled gamer. Faze Clan taught him to be a professional. It schooled Tenney in the business, social media and gaming practices that have made Faze Clan successful. And he certainly has been successful. It is understood that Tenney has earned over $20 million since joining Faze Clan in April 2018, when he was earning virtually nothing.”, says the FaZe’s countersuit against Tfue.
