Sweet Anita Slams A Twitch Viewer

During her livestream, Anita was not going to let a sexist viewer’s comment go unnoticed. After the fan remarked that women only care about “money,” the British streamer slammed him. 

Female content creators are still having to deal with sexist comments from their fans or even fellow streamers in 2022, which is a sad fact. Nonetheless, they always know how to clap back and disgrace their critics. This was especially true with Sweet Anita, who refused to take it lying down when a viewer said that women “don’t care about love” and “only care about money.” She retaliated instantly, calling the viewer “just unbearable” and criticising him for treating all women as sex workers.

On April 29, Sweet Anita was livestreaming when she read out a comment made by a fan in her chat, which irritated her. It said; “Women only want money, I learnt that they don’t care about love.”

Sweet Anita responds stating; “No. Richard, I hate to break it to you, but you’re just unbearable. If that’s the conclusion that you’ve come to, then the only women that will ever tolerate you are the ones you pay to be there. It’s a bit of a self-fulling proficiency when you generalize women as all sex workers just grubbing for money. If you generalize women, the good ones will not like you, and the only ones that will tolerate you are the ones that have something to gain from you that isn’t your personality.”

After being “spurned” by one person, Sweet Anita attacked the viewer for generalizing “an entire group of people.” 

This isn’t the first time Sweet Anita has had to retaliate against her followers. She has criticized unpleasant trolls for mocking her tics and wondering whether she would “cure” her condition after being honest about her Tourette’s syndrome. It’s not often that we see Sweet Anita on her chat get furious with the viewers, but she was understandably irritated by a recent sexist remark. She, like her fellow female creators who face similar misogynistic accusations, isn’t letting it stop her from doing what she loves.
