Compared to Live Concerts Streaming is more Challenging

Anton Zaslavski aka Zeddis, is a Russian-born German DJ, record producer and songwriter. He primarily produces and performs electro house music, but has diversified his genre and musical style, drawing influences from progressive house, dubstep, and classical music. Zedd is also a streamer on the Twitch platform and he has been streaming a variety of games, including Valorant, Overwatch, and Fall guys. He is used to the pressure because he is an artist that always has a packed concert.

He recently spoke about how streaming on Twitch is sometimes a bit harder than performing in a concert. During The CouRage and Nadeshot show, Zedd spoke about how the mediums compared, explaining how the feeling of making music and broadcasting at the stadium is less exhausting, as he stated; “Maybe because I’ve done what I do for so long, it gets to a point when I’m on stage, I’m in my own world. But I’ve streamed a few times and it’s really hard. I feel like I’ve just worked out”. Because of this, Zedd was also amazed with how streamers can regularly put up with the volatility of today’s social political climate where a poor choice of words could have a dramatic effect on their public appeal.

Obviously, being a streamer who plays and does live shows is indeed a hard job due to some fans or viewers that criticize streamers while live. Additionally, you need to deal with the technical difficulties that could happen during the stream, because who knows what can happen during a stream. A streamer needs to engage his or her viewers for many hours sitting and playing or streaming.
