Streamer xQc Shares His Credit Score

Streamers are notorious for exposing intimate details about their life with their viewers, but Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel may have gone too far as he looked up his credit score and discussed why it isn’t higher during a recent Twitch livestream.

Most xQc livestreams take Twitch viewers on a wild ride as the gaming expert jumps from one game to the next. Minecraft, GTA Online, Bloons TD, Chess, and Call of Duty are among the titles that the renowned streamer cycles through.

Aside from playing games, xQc frequently replies to other streams’ films and clips, but releasing his credit score may be the most intimate thing he’s ever done.

According to the U.S. Credit Bureaus, xQc had a “good” credit score of 718 out of 850 when he looked up his credit score using FICO. After stating that his credit score is GG, xQc went on to explain why it isn’t perfect and how the lower score has hampered his livelihood as a Twitch streamer, such as the frequent police raids. A trip to the hospital during xQc’s early days streaming in Los Angeles, according to him, caused a huge drop in his previously perfect credit score.

xQc was a Canadian citizen who wasn’t used to paying hospital bills before migrating to the United States. The Twitch streamer claimed that he “thought it was like in Canada,” which is why he failed to pay the payment, causing his credit score to decrease. The longer a bill remains unpaid, the more probable it is to impact your credit score, and xQc’s credit suffered as a result of his billing troubles.

After relocating several times for safety reasons, xQc attempted to buy blinds for his new home two years after his visit to the LA hospital and failed a credit check. The transaction was delayed due to xQc’s history of unpaid debts, even though the Twitch streamer had the means to cover the roughly $3,000 blinds.

xQc persuaded the salesman that he could afford the blinds after learning that he had failed the credit check. As a consequence of the credit check, the salesperson informed xQc that the purchase would have to be done in another way.

Some viewers were surprised that xQc’s credit wasn’t higher because he has remained one of the most popular Twitch streamers for years. Despite the fact that his credit score has suffered as a result of the hospital expense, xQc continues to make enough money from Twitch donations, subscriptions, and other sources to pay future emergencies.
