Streamer Valkyrae Confirms Hiatus

Valkyrae, a popular YouTube streamer and co-owner of 100 Thieves, plans to take a long break from streaming after accepting an unknown job that would take her out of the country. She recently disclosed that her hiatus will last around a month and will begin in early May.

Valkyrae posted on her second Twitter account on March 30 that she had been approached about a strange project. Valkyrae was excited about the potential relocation, but she was hesitant to accept it, calling it “exciting but scary” and stating there was “a lot to think about.” While Valkyrae’s viewers and friends urged her to take advantage of the opportunity, supporters were left wondering what she would do in the end.

Valkyrae confirmed on live shortly after her Tweet that she had made the arrangement official and accepted the project.

Though she will be inactive on YouTube for a while, the streamer expects to remain active on her other social media channels. Valkyrae said; “I will be gone for about a month beginning on May 2, 2022. I won’t be streaming, but I hope to be active on Twitter and Instagram. It’s going to be a very long time. We still have a month until then, though!”

Though fans won’t be able to see Valkyrae on her usual live stream in May, they may expect to learn more about her future project.
