Streamer Of The Year Ludwig Slams Esports.gg

Esports.gg, a major esports news organization, has been accused of stealing Ludwig “Ludwig” Ahgren’s content, as well as that of many other great artists, and claiming it as their own on TikTok.

Ludwig, a YouTuber and Streamer of the Year, has established himself as one of the streaming community’s most popular content creators. He has kept viewers entertained with his original and fun video on his primary YouTube channel, which has 2.7 million subscribers. Ludwig, on the other hand, can address more serious issues through his second channel, Mogul Mail. He has previously utilized the channel to be candid and honest about his multiple YouTube bans, getting snubbed from Twitch Recap, and the great Twitch DMCA issue.

Ludwig has taken to Mogul Mail once more to speak out against Esports.gg, which has been accused of stealing content from a variety of authors, both big and little. Esports has since replied to the online outcry, which continues to pour in. Ludwig revealed how one of his “good buds” and employees, “Radstads,” who has edited a number of Ludwig’s videos, called out Esports.gg for “stealing” people’s videos for its TikTok account in a YouTube video posted on March 16th.

Radstads said that the website did this not only with his own changes, but also with those of other community streams. He attacked Esports.gg on Twitter once more after the situation persisted for “weeks.” As a result, Esports.gg and Twitch staffer Christian Bishop blocked him.

Esports.gg is accused of downloading Ludwig’s TikTok videos and then posting them on its own channel without giving him or Radstads any credit.

Explaining the drama in his Mogul Mail video, Ludwig said: “I want to clarify I don’t mind people using my clips.” However, he continued: “Taking someone else’s edit and then spinning it as your own is weird, that’s just a weird thing to do. You did zero work […] you know you’re doing something wrong when you get rid of the watermark.”

Ludwig also posted a screenshot of a communication between Esports.gg’s Head of Digital “Kendryx” and an employee who had raised concerns about Radstad’s original charges, which was first leaked by Radstads. Kendryx, on the other hand, told them not to take down the video and to let Radstads go since “he’s a f**king nobody.”
