Streamer hey_t0ny Banned From Twitch

Twitch streamer hey t0ny has been banned from Twitch for praising the Unibomber and asserting that “it’s okay to be racist.” His ex-girlfriend bbjess is facing criticism for being linked to these remarks that warrant a ban.

Almost anyone who is of legal age and has access to a streaming device is welcome on Twitch. Many of the thousands of streamers who have discovered their own audiences have turned to streaming as a full-time career. One such streamer is hey t0ny, a man who, along with his (formerly) girlfriend bbjess, streamed continuously on Twitch. However, after some remarks on his Twitch feed, he was permanently banned from the website.

He applauded the Unibomber and said on a stream that “it’s okay to be racist.” He then immediately erased all of his VoDs and turned his Twitter account private. Twitch streamer hey t0ny was talking to his chat while playing Fall Guys and had some opinions that even the other players questioned. He eventually said, “it’s okay to be racist a little bit,” which resulted in a tape that got this Twitch streamer into trouble.

While access to the VoDs is currently not feasible, some of the deleted footage have been partially preserved in recordings of the on-stream times. After the “it’s okay to be racist” comment, someone in-call with hey_t0ny asked, “What the f*** does that mean?”

In another clip, he praised the Unibomber, saying “Ted Kaczynski is kind of a genius,” followed by a chatter mocking him via text-to-speech, saying “Do you think Hitler is a genius, too?”

Tony was seeing the much bigger streamer and content creator bbjess. They split up after these videos were posted and hey t0ny came under fire on Twitter. After these movies surfaced, hey t0ny first deleted all of his VoDs and disappeared from social media. Twitch has now banned him. Following several posts about her and Tony over the previous few months, Vyne, the individual who uploaded the on-stream clips of Tony, claimed that Jess has blocked them on Twitter.

Additionally, Vyne has a substantial collection of screenshots of posts from Tony’s Twitter account that the streamer has come under fire for, all of which Jess at the time distanced herself from.
