Streamer Amouranth Throws Shade At Keemstar

After being criticized for making a contentious April Fools’ pregnancy joke, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has thrown shade at YouTuber Daniel “Keemstar” Keem.

Amouranth, a Twitch streamer, has established herself as one of the streaming community’s trailblazers, pushing back against her critics and continuing to climb the ranks, finally becoming Twitch’s most popular female streamer in 2021.

While fans have commended Amouranth for consistently hitting back at sexist trolls who have disparaged her career, she has gotten herself into trouble on occasion.

She drew eyebrows, for example, when she agreed with Kim Kardashian’s notorious “get your f*****g a*s up and work” statements and purchased $2 million in Activision Blizzard stock.

Then, on April Fools’ Day, Amouranth was chastised for allegedly making a joke about being pregnant. Following fans’ requests for Keemstar to comment on the drama, Amouranth responded by clapping back at the YouTuber. Amouranth received backlash from followers after allegedly tagging her April Fools’ Day livestream with the phrase “I’m Pregnant.”  As of writing, Amouranth has made no more mention of her ‘pregnancy’ on her social media platforms, leading many followers to believe it was an April Fools joke. However, it didn’t take long for the 28-year-old to come under fire from users.

While some said the remark was only a “joke,” others said it was “inappropriate” because it touched on the sensitive subject of women who are having fertility issues.

As Twitter user “vFightMacFight” stated: “Nice to see Amouranth putting she’s pregnant in her twitch title on this day. Wonder if it’s legit or just a stupid infantile and moronic April Fools ‘joke’ about a subject matter many women deal with.”

Following the uproar from April Fools’ Day, Amouranth slammed YouTuber Keemstar after vFightMacFight tagged the DramaAlert host in a tweet and asked him to comment.  Amouranth responded: “Imagine an alternate universe where instead of Batman we have Keemstar. Whenever some injustice (inconsequential drama) goes unanswered the citizens of Twitter shine a bright DramaAlert logo adorned search light into the night.”

Amouranth continued, criticizing Keemstar’s streamer-fueled; “Thusly summoned Keemstar uselessly makes a video about the subject and throws loaves of bread at denizens of Gotham. Satiated by the superficial appeasements of bread and circuses, everyone goes back to their dreary lives until the next video. Because he’s the hero that misogynists and losers deserve, but not the one it needs ever.”

As of this writing, Keemstar has not responded to Amouranth’s comments. However, it won’t be long until we see a fresh DramaAlert upload regarding the drama, and there won’t be any need for a searchlight signal.
