Shroud Shares Thoughts About The Twitch King

Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek is more than just a classic streamer on Twitch. The 28-year-old star is also an active viewer. More often than not, he watches other people stream than he does himself. He has his likes, too.

Long time ago, it was xQc. Shroud doesn’t seem like a juicer, which may surprise you, but he admitted as much. He admires xQc’s tenacity and finds him amusing. However, during his stream on Sunday, December 11, Shroud acknowledged that Kai Cenat, the rising star who took home the Streamer of the Year award at The Streamy Awards, had captured his heart. 

Shroud said; “Choo-Choo Charles! I was watching Kai play this the other day. Guys, I’ve been watching so much Kai. It’s crazy! I used to watch a lot of xQc, but I’ve found someone else!”

Shroud moved on after making a half-hearted apology to xQc for the slight. He then asked, “xQc replaced? To be fair, I didn’t find Kai through xQc, but I actually only started watching him when he was playing with xQc. Funny how that works, right?”

Most likely, xQc wouldn’t be angry with him either. The juicer warlord has been keeping track of Kai Cenat’s ascent and is another big supporter. They have a close friendship and frequently work together. Even after winning the Streamy for Just Chatting, xQc praised him, saying Kai Cenat should have received it instead of him. Kai Cenat had a tremendous year, and not just in terms of accolades. He continually breaks personal records and was formerly the Twitch streamer with the most subscribers. 

The wholesome star has a promising future, especially if he can charm Shroud sufficiently to keep him from watching xQc’s streams.
