Shroud Opens Up about not Joining the OTK

Twitch streamer Michael Grzesiek, aka Shroud, is undoubtedly one of the biggest Twitch streamers today. He recently returned to Twitch after Microsoft closed down Mixer. In his recent stream, he explained why he will not be joining the OTK (One True King ) streaming organization. This organization includes some of the most popular streamers and personalities such as Asmongold, Esfand and Mizkif. Rich Campbell Asmongold announced the launch of OTK on October 11th. In an announcement video he stated; “We came up with this idea of making an org, and building the org around our friends – building the org around friendship in general”.

Because of this, many have been wondering who would be a perfect fit for the team. Many have asked and questioned Shroud during his stream on the day of the announcement that OTK made if he wants to join the OTK, but he simply answered no. He stated; “Will there be some content I might be in with them? Sure. Would I join? Realistically, probably not. It’s not something I particularly care for. Different path that I want to go down”.

He also mentioned that it is interesting that all streamers have different intentions and goals even if they are all in the same field. Just like him, he really doesn’t want to be joining any organizations now, however, he didn’t completely rule out the possibility of creating content with the new organization.
