Shroud And His Favorite Battle Royale

Popular Twitch Streamer Michael Grzesiek AKA Shroud recently shared his favorite battle royale games’ list including the following; Fortnite, PUBG, Warzone, Apex Legends are all at the forefront of the genre, which is one of the most popular in gaming, particularly eSports.

Shroud is a well-known streamer and he has spent a significant amount of time in these video games. He spent 2624 hours streaming PUBG, 609 hours streaming Apex Legends, 251 hours streaming Fortnite, 60 hours streaming Warzone.

Despite spending a large amount of time in the PUBG universe, Shroud recently stated that Apex Legends was his “biased” favorite game in the ever-popular genre.

Apex Legends was praised by Shroud stating; “It’s different from what I believe is the most competitive if I’m talking about most fun I have, right? If I’m asked regarding competitive gaming, I would say, Fortnite is number one for me, followed by Apex Legends”.

“However, if we’re talking about my most personal enjoyment, Apex Legends, and PUBG are top on my list, Fortnite is third, and Warzone is the fourth one,” the former CS:GO player added. The popular Twitch streamer has already criticized Respawn’s game, claiming that it requires more powerful skills. “I can probably say that the most characters in Valorant are more…I play Valorant, simply because I feel like I’m truly playing the character”.

Despite some critiques, Shroud’s endorsement as his favorite game in the genre is a huge win for Respawn, since the competitive nature of the free-to-play market makes it tough to navigate the opinion of the streamers like Shroud, who can make a big difference in a game’s lifespan and popularity.
